Apple Macintosh 128K M0001 Computer made in 1984
NOT WORKING! This original Mac is sold as-is for parts or repair. I have plugged it in, turned it on, and nothing happens. I heard a slight buzz. No video (despite working the brightness knob back and forth).

The case is in very good condition, and the color is unusually light, whereas many old Macintosh seemed to yellow over the years. The case has a small white paint drop on one side (see photo). Otherwise it is very clean. The video screen is clean and unscratched. There is some corrosion on the external drive connector (see photo).
This computer was part of a large lot of Apple computers that were thrown out, at an elementary school when the School Board decided to switch to Windows 95. I tried to save some examples of different types, hating to see them all thrown out. It was stored in a shed for a long time, thus some of the corrosion occurred. I would regard it as "a barn find" and I have no idea how to open the case up seeing that it uses some kind of "star" like screw heads that are buried deep in the handle.
